    Gabion mattresses are flexible wire-mesh units filled with stone, used for erosion control, slope stabilization, and channel lining. They are available in both twisted hexagonal wire mesh (woven) and welded wire mesh configurations. Compared with twisted mesh, welded wire mesh offers greater rigidity, superior flatness, enhanced flexibility, and better adaptability to ground contours. Both types exhibit excellent corrosion resistance, promote vegetation growth, and are well suited for long-term erosion protection.

    Product Components

    • Base plate: Provides central stability by distributing the weight of the stone and supporting overall structural stability.

    • Side and end panels: Provide lateral support to balance the masonry fill and prevent horizontal displacement.

    • Diaphragm: The rock’s stable internal support is crucial for maintaining stability and preventing rock movement.

    • Hemming line: A reinforced outer edge that not only stabilizes the material but also prevents it from unraveling.

    • Tensioning/fixing components: securely connect the panels to form a stable and robust structure.
